Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, shared, and protected when you interact with Sean Camello Advocacy (the “Services”) and/or submit information through https://seancamelloadvocacy.com/ (the “Website”).
Sean Camello Advocacy is an educational, marketing, and facilitation platform operated by AlonRyse Ventures Corp and used in connection with the insurance advocacy activities of Seanjames Camello, who acts solely in his capacity as a duly licensed non-life insurance agent. Data collection and initial processing activities may be conducted under Alonryse Ventures Corp. (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”).
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA).
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all users, clients, applicants, dependents, visitors, and other persons whose data we collect via:
- The Website and web forms;
- Email, phone, messaging, and other digital communications; and
- Offline interactions (paper forms or in-person submissions) handled by us.
2. Nature of Services and Role
We act strictly as an independent insurance intermediary and marketing entity. Our role is limited to:
- Providing product information and guidance.
- Preparing quotations and proposals (lead generation).
- Assisting in application submission.
- Facilitating communication between you and insurers.
Important Distinction: We are a licensed insurance agent, not a broker. We do not perform underwriting, claims adjudication, or final approval decisions. For insurance underwriting, policy issuance, and claims processing, your personal and sensitive personal data are processed by the insurer (e.g., Pacific Cross), which acts as a separate and independent Personal Information Controller.
3. Personal Information Controller (PIC) & Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We act as a Personal Information Controller (PIC) exclusively for marketing, lead generation, client communications, proposal preparation, and facilitation.
The insurer (e.g., Pacific Cross) acts as a separate PIC for underwriting, policy issuance, claims processing, and the medical evaluation and storage of health records.
For privacy compliance, data subject requests, or inquiries regarding the data we hold, please contact our Data Protection Officer:
- Name: AlonRyse Ventures Corp.
- Email: [email protected]
- Address: Cebu City PH, 6000
4. Voluntary Provision & Consent
Providing your personal data is voluntary but necessary for us to assist you with quotations, applications, and insurance-related services. By submitting your information, you give your explicit, informed consent for us to:
- Collect and use your personal data for facilitation and marketing purposes.
- Share relevant data with insurers for quotation and application processing.
You may withdraw your consent at any time; however, withdrawal may prevent us from continuing to assist you with applications or servicing policies.
5. Types of Personal Data Collected
We collect only the data reasonably necessary to quote draft proposals and fulfill regulatory compliance:
- Identifiers & Contact Data: Full name, email, phone number, addresses, date of birth, nationality.
- Financial & Lifestyle Data: Occupation, income range, dependents, existing insurance details.
- Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser/device fingerprints, cookies, analytics.
6. Sensitive Personal Information (Limited Handling)
Where required for insurance applications, we may facilitate the collection and transmission of sensitive personal information (including health data, medical history, and records) to insurers through secure channels (such as email or insurer-provided systems).
- Health-related information is collected only for submission to insurers.
- We do not independently evaluate or store medical data beyond what is strictly necessary for transmission.
The primary processing, evaluation, and long-term storage of sensitive personal data are performed exclusively by the insurer (e.g., Pacific Cross).
7. Purposes of Processing & Marketing Communications
We process your data for the following lawful purposes:
- Preparing insurance quotations and proposals.
- Facilitating applications and coordinating with insurers and service providers.
- Responding to inquiries and providing support.
- Fraud detection, business administration, and website security.
Marketing Communications: Personal data collected for quotations or inquiries may also be used to send insurance-related offers, follow-ups, product updates, and educational content, subject to your consent. You may opt out at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in our emails or by emailing [email protected] . We will never process your data for unrelated purposes without obtaining explicit consent.
8. Data Flow, Sharing & Recipients
To perform our facilitation services, your data is processed through the following flow:
You (Client) → Sean Camello Advocacy (Alonryse Ventures Corp.) → Sean Camello (Licensed Agent) → Insurer (e.g., Pacific Cross)
We share personal data under confidentiality and security safeguards with:
- Insurers / Underwriters (e.g., Pacific Cross): For quotations, underwriting, issuance, and claims. These entities act as independent controllers.
- Service Providers: Secure cloud hosting, CRM systems, and digital tools bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements.
- Regulatory Authorities: When required by the Insurance Commission, courts, or by law.
We do not sell or trade your personal data to third parties.
9. Cross-Border Transfers
Personal data may be transferred or accessed outside the Philippines when necessary for service delivery, including through insurers' systems, email platforms, or cloud-based tools. By providing your information, you acknowledge and consent to such transfers. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any third parties handling your data apply appropriate data protection measures.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for active inquiries and proposals, client relationship management, and legal or regulatory compliance. After this period, data held by us will be securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. Please note that the long-term storage of sensitive health and underwriting data is handled exclusively by the insurer as an independent controller.
11. Data Security & Breach Response
Even though our primary role is marketing and lead generation, and we may be exempt from mandatory registration with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) based on scale, we fully comply with the Data Privacy Act by implementing reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical, and technical security measures.
Our Safeguards: We enforce controlled access to personal data, utilize secure transmission methods, and employ trusted cloud platforms to protect the basic contact and proposal information we hold.
Insurer Safeguards: Because your sensitive medical and underwriting data is evaluated and stored by the insurer, we strongly encourage you to review the separate Data Privacy Statement of the respective insurer (e.g., Pacific Cross) to understand their specific security protocols.
Breach Notification: In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in real risk to data subjects, we are committed to notifying the NPC and affected individuals within 72 hours of discovery, as required by law.
12. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify or correct inaccurate data.
- Erase or request the blocking/deletion of your data.
- Object to certain processing.
- Data Portability (obtain an electronic copy of your data).
- Withdraw Consent previously given.
To exercise your rights regarding the data we control, please contact our DPO at [email protected] .
13. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, improve user experience, and analyze usage. When tracking is not strictly necessary, we obtain consent via a cookie banner. You may disable cookies via your browser settings, though some Website features may be limited as a result.
14. Protection of Minors
Our Services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from minors without verified parental or guardian consent (e.g., when a parent adds dependents to a family plan). If we inadvertently collect data from a minor without consent, we will take steps to delete it.
15. Third-Party Platforms
Our Website may link to insurer portals (e.g., Pacific Cross), government sites, or other third-party resources. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review third parties' privacy policies before submitting personal data on their platforms.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect legal or operational changes. We will post the updated Policy on the Website with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the Services after posting constitutes acceptance of the changes.
17. Acknowledgment
By using our Website or providing information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy and the processing activities described above.
